We have been plagued with emails and IMs to do a "new player guide" for a while now. We have avoided it for some unknown reason, but in this episode, we bit the bullet and knocked one out. Covering everything from getting into the scene, gearing up, building an arsenal and playing your first game. With all the staff chiming in, we had quite the panel to bounce ideas and methods off of. We also had a few bits air including (our favorite) the F.U. Line, SoCal Airsoft Dictionary, Weather from on High and OPSEC Station News. All in all, a good time was had and hopefully some of the advice dished is useful.

This looks bit silly, but it is not. Laylax announced "Bug Spray," which contains 0% DEET (which is toxic and quite possibly carcinogenic). Instead, their bug juice is made out of 100% natural substances and comes in "militarized" spray can. 840 Yen (6.26 EUR), available only in Japan.

Interesting news from Zeke. They announced product called P38 Spy action model full- complete accessory kit. This kit does not come with pistol replica and price tag is pretty hefty (193,620 Yen, which is lot of Euros- about 1500 Euros or $2,134.77 USD). Materials are duraluminium and steel. While the topics are relevant and important, the celebrities involved raise the douche factor to an unstomachable level. So we get hit alot via mail, private messages, im's, etc by new players looking for information about various airsoft related stuff. Over the years, we have covered most of their questions on the show, but having to dig though episodes is not pleasant. To save our sanity and to assist the general public (I know, shocking for us!) we're going to put together the OPSEC Airsoft New Player Guide version 1.0. This is OUR guide. What WE feel is the best route to go. Other "experts" (and we use that term loosely) will not agree or argue with our guide... and to them we say "suck it". This is our guide. Expanding your airsoft vocabulary

Term:
LMB or "Large Mouth Bass"

Origin:
Unknown

Definition:
1) A player who brags about his/her exploits off the field but cannot back it up.
2) A player who attempts to intimidate the opposing force with taunts, threats and rambunctious behavior but fails to perform on the field.

Example:
"Did you see <players name>? What an LMB... he talked so much shit on the board and in the staging area only to get rolled."

Background:
Every community have these players. They talk, cheer and even tout their squad/individual tactics in front of the opposing players in an attempt to psych them out before the game begins. We have witnessed this from the large 3-days ops all the way down to the local pickup games. Rolling these players is more satisfying than words can express.
