Listener Donations Fuel The OPSEC Machine

We really don't ask for donations often while on the air, but two listeners dug deep this week to help us keep the station operating:

Andy C.
Airsoft Connections, Scorpion Airsoft Honcho, TAC4 Honcho
Andy was one of the main guys involved with Airsoft Connections, the airsoft related internet radio station whose closing inspired us to get OPSEC started. Andy hails from Utah and has visited SoCal to participate in the Crimson Dunes series of airsoft events with his TAC4 teammates. His support means alot to us and we thank him for his generocity.

Mr. X
Veteran SoCal Member, Friend of the Program
Our second donater this week... and unfortunately we could not get a hold of him to ask if he would be cool with us giving him credit for his donation. But.. what we can say is that he is an established member of the SoCal Airsoft Community and has even appeared on OPSEC as a guest. Mr. X, we thank you for your donation and continued support of this program.

Op: Mason Dixon II Donation Results

The canned food donations (incl. those purchased w/the $92.00 in cash from players) wound up to be valued at $750.00! Here's how the math worked:

When we took the donations in, they valued each shopping trolly filled at $250. We filled 3 trollies for a total of $750 worth of donated food.

Thanks again to everyone who came out to this event and donated. A number of players gave far more than the required 5 cans, some as many as 20+ cans. We were overwhelmed to learn the total raised and could not have been happier with the outcome. This canned food drive is something we will DEFINATELY include in any future games we organize.
