Episode 118 has been posted!

118 turned out to be an all-star cast (Lice, Fisch, Jem, Shoe & Radar) for what probably will be one our most informative shows we will ever do. We have been plagued with emails and IMs to do a "new player guide" for a while now. We have avoided it for some unknown reason, but in this episode, we bit the bullet and knocked one out. Covering everything from getting into the scene, gearing up, building an arsenal and playing your first game. With all the staff chiming in, we had quite the panel to bounce ideas and methods off of. We also had a few bits air including (our favorite) the F.U. Line, SoCal Airsoft Dictionary, Weather from on High and OPSEC Station News. All in all, a good time was had and hopefully some of the advice dished is useful.

Episode 117 Has Been Posted!

Episode 117 was recorded last night and needless to say, we had a blast. Ex-Staffer Lice stopped by to fill our 3rd seat and made it feel very much like old times. In this episode, we talked about the latest offerings in the airsoft world and tried our had at explaining tactics via audio. Overall the night was extremely fun yet oddly informative.

Episode 116 Has Been Posted

Episode 116 is here and what an adventure it was. We had originally planned to have Lice in the studio with the regular staff of Alphawolf & Radar. Well, not so much. Turns out that Alphawolf had a TON of prep to do for this weekend's big game and Lice got the date mixed up... leaving Radar high & dry. Luckily Fisch was able to remote-in and save Radar's bacon, which was actually a blessing in disguise as we now have our remote-guest/host tech finally figured out.

In this Episode, we resurrect our favorite series, "Know Your Role", and discuss the wonders of the RTO role. We covered a quick FRS/GMRS refresher, common radio hardware tips and the specs of the role. On top of that, we answered a few listener emails, announced our latest offerings and talked about a few of the recent news items from around the web. Overall, a show to make Mom proud:

Episode 115 Has Been Posted

Episode 115 is the perfect example of what OPSEC was designed to be. We technically started at noon with a BBQ and drinks, talking about the game and what we all we getting into. At 2p we flipped on the mics and went to work. The show was a little loud and crazy, but captured the essence of almost every post-game gathering I can recall, not to mention this is how we use to do it during the first season of the show.

We had prior host Lice and friend Shoe in on the program, making for a very well rounded cast. Seeing as big Op season is upon us, we thought we'd help out by trying assist in gearing up for Op season by sharing our experience, trials and errors. We had a few great FU line calls and our usual handful of interesting airsoft items that recently hit the market. All in all, a pretty damn good show.

MiM now have replica Terminator T-800 jacket
Arnies Airsoft

It’s not out till June, but they are accepting pre-orders and won’t bill you until it ships:

MEDIUM, X-LARGE, XX-LARGE

It’s 1984, James Cameron gets the idea of a “terminator”, a seemingly unstoppable cyborg assassin.

The Terminator gets sent back from the year 2029 by a race of artificially intelligent computer-controlled machines, whose aim is the extermination of the human race. The Terminator’s mission is to kill Sarah Connor, whose future son will lead the human’s resistance against the machines.

The Terminator instantly became a cult classic and this movie has spawned an entire generation of sci-fi films and subsequent sequels. To celebrate the 25th anniversary of this landmark motion picture, Museum Replicas presents a prop never attempted before – a screen accurate version of the T-800’s motorcycle jacket. This limited Edition jacket has had nothing spared in its research and materials. Using all original surviving resource material, it has been re-created exactly as it was worn on screen.

The jacket features police grade leather with zip-out cold weather, custom printed lining and sew-in label celebrating the 25th anniversary. It also incorporates all the safety features of today’s motorcycle jackets, to ensure realism and protection, if you want to wear it when you ride. Remember to look over your shoulder, because he’ll be back…

Have an event or website that needs a little exposure? Fancy the OPSEC staff to read it on the air during our weekly broadcast? Well, then post it. As long as its not retarded and related to airsoft in some way, there is a good chance that it will make it on the air.

"Just want to make a shameless plug about the GGI forum that has been up and running since oct/nov last year. Seems like it is growing pretty good and lot`s of information to be found about gas driven arsoft. (especially the new WA,WE,GHK gbb)

The main page is going trough some updates and would hopefully be an online newspaper about gas driven airsoft. This would take some time to get finished. but you will even now find some reviews and news there."

Friend of the shoe "Shoe" dropped by and sat in as our third making for a very well rounded evening. We popped a few bottles of home brew and had a blast talking shop.
