OPSEC Forums Resurrected
From the black abyss, the official OPSEC forums have been resurrected! We were able to restore about 95% of the data from the old forums and pretty much all the legacy user accounts so no need to register again. Show planning, news, updates, show releases... all underway in our forums:

Forums are back!
The OPSEC forums shutdown a while ago... but have been resurrected here. We call SoCal home and it only made sense that we move our official forums to the SoCal forum. We'd like to thank all those that made generous offers to host our forum. It means alot to us that so many of you actually cared, no matter how misguided

Webpage Overhaul
In case you haven't noticed, we did a wee overhaul to the website. Moved away from 2006 and into the now. We are still migrating over all the old features, but the meat & potatoes are all here. You may notice that the forums are missing, which is a give and take. We are not sure if we want to deal with the forums again (upgrading, patching, etc) , mostly though because it was pretty much a ghost town in there.
There are still things to be done, updated, and so on, but for the most part... welcome to our new home.
Plugs Are Back!
We discontinued offering plugs in early '07 for some forgotten reason but good news... they're back! I was digging around the code on the site and I found the old plugs module was still intact. I made a few minor improvements and off we went. You can submit a plug using the "Plug It!" link in the main menu or by going to the direct url:

Also improved on the site was the layout for the Show Notes and Show Archive. Much more readable and chalk-full of info. I even took time to actually organize the links area.

SoCal Airsoft Dictionary Has A Home
A long running segment on the show is the SoCal Airsoft Dictionary in which we highlight some of the unique (and sometimes) common words/phrases of the SoCal Airsoft Community. Up until today, you had to dig through months of Show Notes in order to read them. But because we care sooo much about you the listener Wink we have made them all easily accessible via a static webpage!

Live Show Schedule is Up!

I couldn't tell you why we haven't had this feature before as it seems so damn logical, but we have added a new feature to the website:
Live Show Schedule
In a nutshell, the page is a listing of the upcoming shows we have planned with all the trimmings. Dates, topics, music, guests, etc... the whole pineapple. It will be updated often as new shows, ideas and guests are confirmed... so be sure to check it regularly!
Live Show Moving to Thursdays Starting Nov 2nd
We learned from our last move... our listeners like a little bit of advanced notice before we move the date of the live show. Go figure... so, with that said:
Starting November 2nd, the Live Show will be airing on Thursday nights at 7:00p PST.
The move is to accommodate our ever changing life schedules and commitments which, unfortunately, take priority over our beloved show. We will be sure to mention the move in every upcoming show prior to the move just to be sure the word is spread.
Site Updates and Additions
With the revamp comes our latest batch of updates to the website. The layout is still as plain-jane as always, but the features are growing daily:

This page will be dedicated to the bands that we play as well as serve instructions on how bands can request airtime.

This page will host the current employment opportunuties we have open.
Live Chat:
We have ditched the slow & clunky Flash Chat system and implemented an old school IRC Chat system.

Relaunch
So after 10-days shy of a month off, we have decided to give the show another shot and relaunch. With this second chance comes a reengineering of the show itself. Additional staff, new music, and more in-depth topics. We are working hard to get to the next step... an actual show! Stay tuned for more information!
