No Show for Feb 14th (Valentines Day)
As heard on the 2/7 show, we will not be broadcasting next Thursday, the 14th, because of Valentines day and we do no want to sacrifice our relationships for the show. Enjoy the extra time off and get caught up on the episodes that you missed.
OPSEC’s 2nd Birthday Bash is on!
Can you believe we've been broadcasting for almost 2 years? Seems like only last month we first hatched the idea and started making fools of ourselves, but... here we are. AEG Raffle / Fundraiser
So you already know that OPSEC is 100% listener supported right? We have no sponsors or investors to pay the bills, so it's down to either the listener's donations or the staff to cough up the dough needed to keep us afloat. The good news is that the books for 2007 are closed and we did far better in '07 and in '06.The bad news is that we are still in the red like you wouldn't believe...

In Memory of Steve Holtgrefe
Thursdays show will be dedicated to Steve Holtgrefe. As some of you who are local will know Steve passed away during the Lion Claws Customer Appreciation Day game on Saturday the 8th of December. Steve was well known and respected by many here in the Southern California airsoft community.
By the many comments that have been posted on various forums, Steve was always there to offer his help when needed, whether it be airsoft or life, or to just shoot the breeze with you. He always had a smile on his face and even if you didn't know him that well he would treat you like he knew you forever.
Our deepest condolences go out to Steve's family and friends. He died doing what he loved surrounded by friends sharing the same love. Steve you will be missed. Rest in peace.
No Show for Nov 15th & 22nd (Thanksgiving)
Every airsofter knows that life is more important that this hobby, right? Well, you should! Normally we don't cancel shows unless there is a critical health or safety issue. Tonight is neither. Almost every member of the staff has family or personal obligations that will prevent their attendance, myself included. While we feel terrible about missing yet another broadcast, we have to keep our houses in order to continue broadcasting and we appreciate your understanding.
Next week, the 22nd, is Thanksgiving, so there will be no show. Enjoy your time with your loved ones and be thankful you don't have to endure our antics for another week. In all seriousness, we are extremely thankful for you the listener and for the chance to do a program we love about a hobby we love. Enjoy your holiday folks!
11/01/07 SHOW CANCELLED
THATS RIGHT, SORRY EVERYONE BUT TONITES SHOW IS BEING CANCELLED. RADAR IS IN THE HOSPITAL WITH A VERY BAD INFECTION. WE HOPE TO SEE YOU ALL NEXT WEEK. I WILL TRY AND KEEP YOU POSTED ON RADARS STATUS DURING THE WEEK.

September 27th Show Cancelled
Thats right, the show is canceled. Radar has come down with some super contagious evil bug and he is being quarantined as we speak. Maybe we can do the zombie show early if he gets sick enough But in all seriousness all the staff hope he gets well soon so we can have the show next week at its same bat time. Feel better man.
Calendars Defeat Us
Apparently our ability to count needs work as we fell short of the 3 week holiday mark by a week. The next live broadcast will be on the 9th of August, not the 2nd as previously stated. Don't go running for the razors just yet! We apologize for the mix up and the pain that you, the loyal listener, will be experiencing with yet another week without the program. Rest assured though, we will be back on the 9th with new content and maybe even a few new tricks up our collective sleeve.
OPSEC’s On Holday
For those that missed the announcement on the 7/12 show, the station will be taking a 3 week break from production. That doesn't mean we won't be working on backend functions and technology... just that we won't be broadcasting/podcasting.
We will return with a fresh show on the 2nd of August.. relaxed and in a new location to boot. Who knows, the show quality may even improve. Doubtful, but maybe.
