So Here’s The Rub…

We've been pretty cryptic about what's going on with the show and for good reason. We weren't too sure how to break the news or even if we should, but it has become apparent that we don't have much choice. So, here's the rub:

I (Radar) am moving to western New York for work, which means that the show will be moving as well. For the time being, the show hardware is in a storage unit (with the rest of my house!) and my company has put me in corporate housing up in the San Francisco bay area until probably early August. On top of that, my beautiful wife is pregnant (yes, it's mine) which means a whole world of change is on my door step.

So, this means bad news and good news:

The Bad:
No new shows until at least late August, early September 2010.

The Good:
The show will get a cast change and a whole slew of new content that comes with the venue change.

Do you guys remember Episode 80, the show we did on Nov 8th '07 when Mr. Andy and Haggarty from Western New York Airsoft League sat in on the show about Competition Airsoft Events? Well, it turns out that Haggarty runs Frontier Airsoft and has offered up his shop space for us to do live OPSEC shows! Amazing, right? So starting in the fall of 2010, expect a lot to come out of our collective drunken pie holes!

The holiday season is over and the time to get the show up and running is here! We're building one hell of a show that is set to air on Thursday, January 14th at 7:00p PST. We'll see about getting a few special guests and an update on the on-going SAWA saga.

So we have taken down the cafepress shop as... well... it really didn't do much. If anyone wants a T-Shirt, hit us up, we still have all the art work and can probably make it happen. In it's place, we have put up our own mini-shop which we are calling "Merch". Inside you will find only a few items, all of which do help up keep the show in the black. As of today, March 30th, we have the following in the shop:

The date has been set and we're ready to get this dog and pony show up and running. Details on the show are being worked on but we have the nuts-n-bolts all worked out. We will be sure to update this thread as soon as possible... 'till then, mark your calendars and spread the word!

We’re Officially Coming Back

So the petition signature count is climbing slowly... which is cool by all means. We don't want to wait for 1000. We are definitely going to be broadcasting again soon. The staff have been talking and now that we have had a looong vacation, we forgot how done we were and are actually excited to get things rolling again. We have not set a date for the "3.0" show as we are retooling MANY things which should make the show much more enjoyable for all involved (format, features, tech, staff, etc). First air date is looking like early April. Thoughts? Discussion is on-going in our forum.

Beating a dead horse?

"Are you coming back?"

So f-ing tired of that question because we just don't know the answer. The desire exists... we just need to actually get our butts in gear. Forums are up, so cruise on over and say hello. Are we beating a dead horse even toying with the idea? Who cares! We had fun and there is still more fun to be squeezed from this orange. We'll see what transpires but it's looking good. Keep those fingers crossed.

Our next show, Episode 112 airing on the 25th of September 2008, will be our last show. When I say last show, I mean, our absolute very last show. As in, no more new shows being released. Seriously. We will go deeper into the "why" of this decision next show, but thought it would be wise to put the word out in this week's show. Tune in next week for our final show... should be, ironically, our best one ever.

Official OPSEC Airsoft Fan Club Launched

I know... it will be a cold and lonely place, but we really dig the idea of a dedicated airsoft social networking portal and want to do "our part". No Show for Feb 14th (Valentines Day)
